Organisation o a company having a capitalization of $100,000, th purpose of which is to manufacture in Utah all sorts of breakfast foods and cereal products, was perfected yesterday- afternoon aft-ernoon at ki meeting of prominent Utahns held in the ofiico of the Manufacturers' Manu-facturers' Association of Utah. The company will bo incorporated probably this week. While no decision as to the city in which the company's plant will be located was made, it was agreed that it Bhould bo either Salt Lake, Ogden, Og-den, Logan or Provo. Perkins, Salt Lake, secretary, Rapid Work. j The proposition to organize, the company, com-pany, and to produce from Utah grain roods for which a half million dollars is sent out of the slato each year was suggested several weeks ago by J. A. Hendrickaon and Washington Aldridge of Salt Lake. The two beginners of tho plan interested many Utahns and at last saw their way clear to organize the corporation. Thoso interested wore brought together yesterday and the rapid organization was perfectod as a result or work on behalf of the Manufacturers' Manu-facturers' Association of Utah by D. Tp. Oollett, secretary. L. V. Thistle of this city, mill expert ex-pert and veteran cereal manufacturer, addressed tho organization meeting and gave advice and suggested the best way of going forward with the movement. He lias drawn tontative plans of a breakfast food and cereal plant, but would gjve no figures on how much such a plant will cost until further investigation in-vestigation is made by tho committees in charge. Ho suggested, and tho meot- ing agreed, that the proposed plant shall have a daily capacity of not less than 100 barrels. After a Location. A committee composed of D. P. Col-lettj Col-lettj chairman; J. W. Knight, J. S. Carver and J. A. Hendrickson was appointed ap-pointed to select a site for the plant. If possible, land with a suitable factory building on it will bo secured. How-ever, How-ever, it such, a site cannot bo obtained the corporation will erect buildings. The location committee will begin work Wednesday. It is hoped to have the business under way by early summer. There arc about forty stockholders and as no more stock is being sold this number will probably comprise the permanent list of stockholders. The capital stock is divided into 1000 shares of $100 each. Beside the officers elected, elect-ed, the following compose the board of directors: George T. Odcll, James IT. Moyle, George S.
