John Kidwell was arrestod hero today after ho had confessed to tho murder of a family of throe at Wellington. Kan., on September 24, 1912. The McKnolly. family, consisting of an aged man, his wifo and a grown daughter, wero killed while sleeping in a tent. Jiidwell came here from Moborly, Mo., throo weeks ago. Ho implicated another man in the crime. Accordiug to tho police, a detective gained Kid-well's Kid-well's confidenco and then brought about his arrest. WELLINGTON, Kan.. Feb. 21. Tho murder of Theodore McKnolly, his wifo nnd lS-y ear-old daughter, was one of the most brutal in the history of Kansas crimes.
