I. H. Masters of tho Provo Herald, in a brief address said that bettor legislation leg-islation should ho enacted, making it necessary for city and county' olllcials to publish monthly reports showing the taxpayers tho exact disposition of funds. J. S. Barlow of tho Murray Eagle spoke of the nocdi of more advertising ad-vertising in tho country papers. He said tho association should tako stops to urge tho Manufacturers' Association Associa-tion of Utah to advortiso the state moro extensively and moro consistently through the medium of tho country press. Charles England of tho Logan Journal spoke of a plan to unilo all tho newspapers of the state and appoint ap-point an agent to represent them in the foreign advertising field.
