Show American Legion Post Prepares Mail Election Ballots An election of officers for Cedar Ce-dar Post No. 74, American Legion, will be conducted by mail during the next two weeks, Elton Strat-ton, Strat-ton, Post Commander, reports. A special nominating committee com-mittee has placed in nomination two candidates for each position, except one. Three members will be elected to the executive committee com-mittee and six have been nominated nom-inated for these positions. Ralph Jones and Gronway R. Parry have been nominated for the position of Post Commander to succeed Mr. Stratton. Other nominees listed on the ballot are as follows: First vice commander: George Grimshaw and Durham Morris. Second vice commander: Milt Sevy and Edward II. Hahne. Adjuant: Willard Hamilton and Walter Hansink. Finance Officer: Dee Cowan and Haymer Morris. Chaplin: John M. Brown and Francis Esplin. Historian: Leland Heywood and Ellas Leigh. Service Officer: Frank Dalley and Ilaidow Christensen. Sgt.-at-arms: Murl Gibson, unopposed. un-opposed. Executive committee, three to be elected: Wm. S. Leigh. H. Mack Naegle, Hyrum Perry, Henry T. Stephens, Gavlnrd Whitney, and Gary Macfarlane. The election will be completed by May 1. Mr. Stratton states. |
