Show Cedar City Lions Club Passes Ballots For Officer Election Sample ballots for the (lection of officers of the Cedar City Lions Club were passed out at their regular meeting Monday noon and election will take place at the next meeting, ai cording to Ray Lindquist, president. Tlaced in nomination for the position of president of the civic group were Dee Cowan and Herschel Neeley. I Other candidates include: Ray Knell and D. C. Schmutz, first vice president; Reed Bradshaw and Haze Hunter, second vice president; Theo Corry and Ren Taylor, third vice president: O. n MacDonald and Wesley Mullett. tail twister and Ross Glass and Gaylord Whitney, Lion Tamer. Four members were nominated for the board of directors with two to be elected. They include Rodney Brown, Tony Lambert, Carlyle Mitchell and Alfred Olson. Ol-son. Guest speaker for the Monday noon luncheon was Parley Dalley, who discussed rock formations and their history, particularly In the southern Utah area. Musi. cal entertainment was provided by Engene Hellend, band director direct-or at the Cedar City High School, who gave a saxophone solo. He was accompanied by Alan Seeg-miller. Seeg-miller.
