Culvert Program The City Council at its regular meeting Thursday night took action ac-tion to improve street intersections intersec-tions throughout the city by the installation of culverts, from curb to curb on each intersection. An appropriation of $1200 was made to cover the cost o the project. Such street-wide culverts are already installed on many of the intersections of the city, but others oth-ers are narrower than the street. The project will not be rushed, i Mayor Anderson imported, but will be handled as the street crew makes regular street repairs. The work will be done first on streets where traffic is heaviest, and continued as the need arises ' through the condition of culverts and developing traffic conditions.
