Show i Photographers Urged i To Submit Pictorial Favorites Scenic Southern Utah will receive re-ceive double emphasis during the I next two months when the Cedar City Elks Lodge and the Cedar Lions Club play host to conventions conven-tions of their state associations, me imks on May &i ana and the Lions on June 2, 3 and 4. Both groups are preparing convention con-vention booklets which will feature fea-ture the attractions of this region re-gion in color and black and white pictures. Businessmen of the area are sponsoring the booklets book-lets and their names will appear under scenic views. Interest in the Elks and Lions convention booklets has increased in-creased until there is a need for additional photographs of scenes hereabouts, according to conven tion publication editors. They are Dale Kemp and H. P. Anderson for the Elks, and D. C. Schmutz and Art Higbee for the Lions. Any amateur photographer who thinks he has a picture worthy of historical or scenic interest is invited to submit it to either group of editors for publication. A credit line will be printed with the picture as recognition for the photographer. |
