Show Local Legion Post Prepares To Elect New Officers Conway E. Parry, chairman of the nominating committee of the American Legion Post No. 74 in Cedar City, released a list of nominations for officers for the following year. Milton Sevy and Elton Stratton, energetic workers for a number of years, head the list as candidates for post commander. com-mander. Orville Isom, local attorney, has served as post commander for the past year. Other nominations include: First Vice Commander, Max Bon-zo Bon-zo and Grant Seegmiller; Second Vice Commander, Mac Naegle and Bert Carpenter; Adjutant, John E. Rail and Bobby Talbot; Sergeant-at-arms, Elsworth Flan-Igan Flan-Igan and Charles Wells; Service officer, Claude Edward and Joseph Jo-seph Atkln; Chaplain, George Grimshaw and Vernon A. Jones; Executive Committee (three to be elected), Cluff Jolley, Conway Parry, John M. Brown, Leland Heywood and Keith Lambeth. Postcard ballots will me mailed this week, Mr. Parry indicated, with a deadline of May 22 as the latest postmarked cards will be accepted. |
