"But I didn't know you were such a big hog." Three Cedar City girls hart? been selected . as delegates to Utah "Girls' State," sponsored annually by the American Legion Auxiliary. Girls. State this year will be held at the Utah State Agricultural College in Logan June 6 through 15. The delegates from Cedar City will be sponsored by the Jaycee-Ettes, Jaycee-Ettes, B P W Club and Lady Elks. Alternates have been named by each sponsoring group, in order that representation can be assured as-sured should delegates be unable to attend for any reason. The Jaycee-Ettes have selected Miss Sara Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kimball Jensen as their delegate, with Miss Valerie Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tyven Adams, as alternate. The BPW Club sponsored delegate dele-gate will be Miss Marion Spraguc, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Sprague, with Miss Ferrell Whatcott, daughter of Bishop and Mrs. A. E. Whatcott. as rlternate. Miss Lois Mecham, daughter of Mrs. Arlene Mecham, will attend under the sponsorship of the Lady Elks, with Miss Carol Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bauer, as alternate. |
