Show Top Entertainers Will Visit Cedar City No longer is it necessary to travel to Las Vegas to witness the top entertainers of the nation, na-tion, according to the Kiwanis Club of Cedar City, for that organization or-ganization is bringing to Cedar City Spike Jones and his hilarious hilari-ous show "Musical Insanities." The show, considered one of the best in the nation at the present time, will be staged at the memorial ficldhouse at the College of Southern Utah on Thursday, May 27 at 8:30 p. m. Tickets will go on sale in the lobby of the Southern Utah Power Pow-er Company on Monday, May 10. A chart of the seating arrangements arrange-ments and price breakdown will be on hand so that residents of the area can see where they will be seated. Spike and his "merry musicians" musi-cians" are at the present time winding up a television series that has been well received all over the nation. The show goes on the road this month and Cedar Ce-dar City residents will witness one of the first shows on his nation-wide tour. Full Stage Erected A complete stage will be erected erect-ed in the north end of the field-house field-house and the playing floor arranged ar-ranged for seating so that almost al-most 3000 people will be able to witness the show. Those who have seen Spike in his rendition of such famous pieces as "Clole" and "Some Secluded Se-cluded Rendezvous," are the best backers of the show and his troupe of entertainers promise a "side splitting" two and one-half hours of the best entertainment to be found anywhere. Tickets will be sold in three different price ranges for several sections of the fieldhouse. Tickets, Tic-kets, including federal tax, will! be sold for $1.80, $2.40 and $3.60.! Tickets will be sold throughout through-out southern Utah and Eastern Nevada, and all seats will be reserved. |
