Show Cedar City BPW Club Holds Annual Installation Breakfast The annual installation breakfast break-fast of the Business and Professional Profes-sional Women's Club of Cedar City was held Sunday with Mrs. Lona Watson taking over the president's gavel from Mrs. Ethel Smith in impressive ceremonies. Surrounded with beautiful spring flowers the group mot for the breakfast and also enjoyed a i reading. "White Cliffs of Dover," by Jane Okcrlund, accompanied by Ronee Jones. Janet Wasden also played a piano solo at the meeting. Principal speakers for the installation in-stallation wcie Mrs. Marcella Bingham, Midvale, state president presi-dent of the organization and Mrs. Ada Burt, Salt Lake City, state vice president. Other officers installed Sunday included: Geniel Bryant, vice president; Eula Gardner, treasur-e; treasur-e; Lydia Hartor, recording secretary, secre-tary, and Fern Johnson, corres-Ionding corres-Ionding secretary. In charge of the meeting was a committee composed of Candice Ewing, Let a Cowley and Mary Anker. The two state representatives discussed the coming state convention con-vention to he held on June 4, 5 and G, telling the local ladies what can be expected and -what problems and business will be developed at the meet. New officers of the BPW Club I will take ove. office on July 1, it is understood. |
