Show Pharmacists Make Final Convention Plans jrr - ' "'" i v i -1 hLl fd M. A. COWLEY I With Cedar City delegated to host the annual convention of I the Pharmaceutical Association ! May 23. 24-and 25 a series of preparations and activities have been organized by the local heads in charge. M. A. Cowley, general chairman chair-man for the statewide convention conven-tion which will bring approximately approxi-mately 350 pharmacists from all over the state to Cedar City for the three-day affair, has most of the arrangements completed. Gordon Christensen, manager of the Thornton Drug Co., has ben placed in charge of floor shows and entertainment for the affair and has been busy arranging arrang-ing for these activities for the past month. Reguar business sessions will be conducted by officers of the state association on May 23 and 21 with a tour of Zion National Park scheduled for May 25. The tentative schedule will have the convention break up at Zion after an evening stroll under the Great White Throne. Complete details of the convention con-vention will be announced next week and conventioneers have been given a skeleton outline of aefvities in the state magazine this week. It is anticipated that the convention con-vention will be one of the largest ever staged in Cedar City and the Chamber of Commerce is assisting as-sisting the group in a number of the activities, Mr. Cowley pointed out. |
