Show Graduation Exercises Slated for LDS Institute Students Twenty-two students of the College of Southern Utah will; graduate this spring from the' Cedar City LDS Institute of Religion, Re-ligion, it was revealed today by i G. O. Larson, director. The grad-1 uation exercises will be held on' Sunday, May 16 at 8 p. m. William E. Berrett, vice presi-di presi-di nt of Brigham Young Univer-! sity at Provo will deliver the ad-d;css ad-d;css to the graduates which will also serve as baccalaureate sermon ser-mon for the C S U students. The institute graduates will be represented rep-resented on the program by Barbara Bar-bara Munford of Cedar City, who will give the address of welcome, and by Ray Callister of Delta who will give the valedictory ad-diess. ad-diess. A special feature of the commencement, com-mencement, Director Larson stated, stat-ed, will be a musical portrayal of the Beatitudes by the combined com-bined College of Southern Utah chorus and orchestra under the direction of professors Blaine Johnson and Roy L. Ileaton, Gail John Hinton, I Marrell W. Ivie, Cynthia Jones, j Gayle Knell, Mary Ann Lamb-son, Lamb-son, Laurel Lunt, Shanann Mag-lebv, Mag-lebv, Barbara Ann Munford, Clarence A. Nay, Clark II. Oviatt, Gilbert Boyd Robinson, Pauline Sev, Carma Arthella Taylor and LoJuana Wingrt. According to the director the graduates come from nine different differ-ent counties including Iron, Se- mm .mi in .i. ii m-in.mi vitr, Millard, Beaver, Garfield, Kane, Emery, Uintah, and Wash-inpton. |
