Show CJHS plans for science fair rience with the history fair, this was quite an accomplishment. The national competition this year will be held again at the University Uni-versity of Maryland in June. Thanks to last year's accomplishments, ac-complishments, Centerville Junior High has a reputation for great projects. pro-jects. The students are looking forward for-ward to another exciting history fair experience and invite the public to attend. By TOM CUTLER AND ANDREA CLINGER Centerville Junior High, along with other schools in the district, is preparing for the upcoming history fair. This year's theme is "Science and Technology." The students are to use this theme and adapt it to history. The first competition is on a school level, and Centerville Junior High's judging will be Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the cafeteria. The public is invited to see the displays, presentations pre-sentations and other categories from 7-8:30 p.m. The winning entries are chosen to move on to a regional competition. This will be held March 15, at Weber State College. Only first, second se-cond and third place winners in each category may enter this level of competition, and the selected entries en-tries move on to a state competition at Brig ham Young University in April. Last year, for the first time, Centerville Junior High participated in the history fair, and had some excellent projects submitted. Krystal Utter, Danny Butler and Ammon Fager were chosen to represent rep-resent the state of Utah at the National History Fair in Washington, Washing-ton, D.C., and considering it was Centerville Junior High's first expe- |
