Show Upholstery workshop set FARMINGTON Utah State University Extension Service of Davis County will sponsor an upholstery workshop March 12-16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the USU Horticultural Farm Pavilion, 1817 N. Main, Farrnington. Pre-registration Pre-registration is required Call 451-3404. 451-3404. Enrollment is limited. Participants are requested to enroll early since this promises to be a very popular class. A small registration fee will be charged to defray expenses. This workshop is geared for beginners wishing to acquire 'hands-on' experience in the basics. Small, easy upholstery pieces are a must, due to limited working space. No recliners or large pieces, please. All participants are required to attend at-tend an orientation meeting Tuesday, Tues-day, March 6 at 10 a.m. at the USU Horticultural Farm Pavilion (off Highway 89, 2 miles north of Lagoon in Farrnington). Sample fabrics will be available at the orientation meeting or Davis County Extension Office prior to the orientation meeting. Fabric should be ordered and received before the workshop. Orders for foam and other supplies will be placed at the orientation meeting. Instructions will be given on preparing prepar-ing furniture for reupholstering. Basic tools needed include: hammer, pliers, tack puller, scissors, tape measure, chalk and sewing supplies.
