The rate reduction was requested in the utility's semiannual gas-cost-adjustment or "pass-through" filing. fil-ing. Such filings enable the com pany to adjust rates twice each year to reflect changes in gas-supply costs. If approved, the adjustment will result in an annual decrease of $6.86 (1.2) for the typical residential residen-tial customer using 1,150 therms per year. The change is requested to go into effect Feb. 1. |
