Show MINIDOKA COUNTY TO SEND DELEGATE Special to The Tribune. RUPERT, Idaho, Nov. 1. A special meeting of the chamber of commerce was held Wednesday night, at the request of Barry Dibble, manager of the Minidoka project, to discuss the irrigation question. ques-tion. A resolution was adopted empowering empower-ing the president of the chamber of commerce com-merce to select ten names to be submitted submit-ted to Governor Davis, from which list the governor may appoint a man to represent rep-resent Minidoka at the reclamation meeting meet-ing to be held at Salt Lake, November 21-22. At that meeting plans will be outlined for presentation to congress relative to irrigating the arid regions of the west. At the same meeting .the question of the advisability of changing the Minidoka highway from Minidoka and Dei inch to Minidoka and Rupert was also discussed. Delegates will be appointed to confer with the state highway commissioners in Boise. |
