L In one of the greatest last-period rallies ever seen on Ferry fleid, Michigan snatched victory from North western's football eleven this afternoon. 16 to 13. Held scoreless in the first two periods and allowed only a safety in the third, Michigan opened up in the final session and, playing like mad. put over two touchdowns touch-downs in quick succession. The. first came when Captain Goetz blocked a punt from behind the Northwestern goal line and Gordon Dunn fell on it back of the line. Sparks scored the other by bluffing a run around left end and suddenly switching Lo the right extremity. Sparks kicked boat goals. Northwestern scored in the opening period pe-riod on a forward pass and a twenty-yard sprint by Barnard.
