Show Strikers Gather in Charleston. CHARLESTON, W. Va., Nov. 1. A parity pari-ty of 800 or 400 striking miners left the Cabin Creek country early today to march to Charleston, despite the rain and the orders of their district officers forbidding the march, according to official information informa-tion received here. By noon the streets of Charleston were filled with miners. Including the marchers march-ers from Cabin Creek, who had arrived on trolley ears; mingled with the crowds. The men were in good humor, and their leaders said there was no reason to expect trouble of any kind; that they simply were enjoying a little vacation. |
