Show LABOR UNIONS I RED CROSS OGDEN, Nov. 1. That union labor is aiding the Red Cross roll call, which will open tomorrow in an effort to obtain 12,-000 12,-000 members in the city and county, was shown tonight when members of various unions made four-minute talks at the local theaters. The speakers were as follows: Alham-bra, Alham-bra, Joseph Young, Carmen's union; Or-pheum, Or-pheum, Mrs. Alice Snell Mover, president Union Isabel league; Ogden, Eather Frederick, Fred-erick, Railway Clerks and president Coop Co-op store; Utah, C. N. Woods, assistant district forester, federation federal employees; em-ployees; Cozy, Arthur Edson, Railway Clerks; Lyceum, G. J. Reeves, school teacher's. Although the drive does not open until tomorrow, a large number of firms in the city already arc displaying the banners: ban-ners: "We belong 100 per cent." It is said that nearly all of the large institu tions have turned the 'matter of the campaign aver to the employees and they are now snaking the effort to report a full quota by th6 opening day of the drive. . Vtfr Headquarters for the drive have been opened in the City hall, at which place all supplies have been delivered for the use of the committees. |
