AUSTIN GIBBONS, "mess offi- cer," who will have charge Of I lithe menu at the Armistice day danc- I ling party of the Bachelor Knights, , II ' Bachelor Knights Send Out Invitations for Carnival Entertainment, A dance in celebration of Armistice day will be held November 11 by the Bachelor K-nights at the Ladies' Literary club. Although the dance is lo celebrate cele-brate the cessation of hostilities, the arrangements ar-rangements are being made in a way that should, arouse military memories. The invitations are: "Yourself and lady are ordered to report re-port in costume at. tho masked carnival supper dance Armistice evening." - The program as contained in an .official .offi-cial order of the commanding officer, Joseph Jo-seph H. McKay, and. bis aides, Robert Driscol and Richard A. Kane. Is as follows: fol-lows: Reveille, 9 p. m: assembly, 10:45 p. rri.; drill,, 10:50 p. mv; awarding of prizes for best costume; retreat, U p. m.; mess, 11:10 p. m.; assembly, 11:40 p. m and taps at a time to be set in the progress prog-ress of the party. Austin Gibbons, former sergeant in the United States army, has been appointed mess officer, but lias promised a departure depar-ture from the regulation army menu. It is expected that the spirit of the first Armistice day celebration will be rejuvenated re-juvenated to a certain extent, since a large percentage of the organization is composed of former service men.
