The meeting, which was the regular monthly luncheon meeting of the club, presided over by the president, Alice E. Rowde, was well attended, about ninety members being present. TEACHING OF BETTER CITIZENSHIP FAVORED To make out of the present generation genera-tion of boys and girls of Utah better and stronger citizens by bringing them to a realization of the duties before them in their own communities is the purpose of the new course of civics and patriotism recently adopted by the state hoard of education, said Mosiah Hall, state high school inspector in his speech yesterday noon before the Schoolmasters ' club at the iNowhouse hotel. Mr. Hall was chairman of the committee com-mittee which arrange-i the new course of study. In his speech he outlined the purpose of the course and the method used to accomplish this purpose.
