Alice review, Ladies of the Maccabees, held a special meeting in the lodge, room of Society hall Tuedav afternoon in honor of the visit to Bingham of Mrs. Belle M. 7-1 edge of Denver. Mrs. Hedge was the guest of Mrs. Hyland during her stay In Bingham. Mrs. T. S. Carnalian delightfully entertained enter-tained the Sewing flub at her home on the Utah Copper heights Monday afternoon after-noon at a perfectly appointed luncheon, following an- afternoon devoted to the knitting of scarfs and sweaters for the IT. S. navv. the club having recently been transformed into a Red Cross unit. The members present were Mesdames Joseph Kemp, 1 tavid W. George, J. F. Flynn, James Garnet t. Ben Iewis and J. TT-Manwarlng. TT-Manwarlng. Mrs. Carnajian had also as guests her sister, Mrs. kshelson; Mrs. C. K. Cnrev and Mr. Carnahan's mother, Mrs. Mary K. Carnalian. - Ruth Rebekah lodge enjoyed a social session Tuesday evening., following the initiation of five Candida tes, which was attended bv a large number of the members mem-bers of the order and was an Important social function. During the evening refreshments re-freshments were served by a committee comp'osed of Mesdames Joseph Nerdjn. J. 'F. Mead and James-Jackson, following which cards, music nnd dancing contributed contrib-uted their quota to the enjoyment of the evening. Mrs. Walter F. ' Scott of Coppern1i spent Thursday In Bingham, the guest of Mrs. John StugS. Mr. and Mrs. If. K. Miss Merle Ktauh returned this week from Tooele, where she had spent three weeks, the guest, of her aunt, Mrs. Mary Sloane. Mrs. Frank Clark left Thursday for Salt Iake City, where she will remain for some days, a guest of her sister, Mrs. J. S. Galiwick. Miss Jessie Robertson left Sunday for Salt Lake City, where she will remain during the winter while taking a commercial com-mercial course at the Salt Lake Business Busi-ness college. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Douglas and family are recent acquisitions to Bingham social circles, coming from Payson to make their home In Bingham. Mrs. H. T. Garvin of the Highland Boy settlement is a Salt Lake City visitor, a guest, of Iter mother Mrs. Marcus F.
