Show SYMPATHY STRIKE IN ILLINOIS ENDS SPRINGFIELD, 111., Sept. 15. The sympathetic strike which called 8000 men from their duties during the week is ended. Coal miners, watch makers and many other workers will return to their tasks on Monday. Barbers, butchers and grocers returned today. The settlement was' reached at a meeting of business men and strikers with Governor Lowden this afternoon.
