Show DETERMINES TO AID NEW LIBERTY LOAN The members of Salt Lake council No. 81, United Commercial Travelers, at a patriotic meeting held at their club rooms last night, wnt on record as ready to lend their support to the nation in food conservation and the second Liberty loan drive. A resolution introduced by Frank R. Ball, recommending recom-mending tho more universal use of corn products to offset the scarcity of wheat, was unanimously adopted. The necessity of united action in mak-i mak-i ing the Liberty loan successful was j brought out by A. Rawlins, who spoke ; at length on the cruelty of the present ! war and the conquest lust of the German Ger-man nation. |
