Editor. F CRITICISM. FrlPnd Phimly: I wish to commend the maR-nifirent maR-nifirent piece of work by J. F. Roberta and L. J. Vair in Tribune problem No. 308. It knocks out my problem No. 2S8, but I am proud to have It "cooked" by surh a fine effort. I believe that teamwork of the two bla-k kings to be about the finest thing 1 havp Been in draughts in many years. This Is a case where the corrected play Is ahead of tho original, eo a new problem is born from the death of the old. All honor to the boys and to your excellent column. 0. H. RICHMOND, Chicago.
