As a fitting climax to five years of faithful service, a happy informal gathering gath-ering honored Miss Florence Hobison with a jolly farewell luncheon on Thursday evening at the offices of Kimball & Richards, land merchants, 56 and 5S jMain street. Twenty-five employees of the firm partook o'f the evening's enjoyment and refreshments. A programme, tho numbers of which were, for tho most part, impromptu, enlivened the occasion. Ln expressing his keen appreciation of tho faithful work of Miss Tfobison, who is soon to be a June bride, D. C. Kimball, president presi-dent of tho company, recalled many pleasant and amusing, incidents of the early activities of tho" then young firm. Miss Robison was tho first employee of Kimball & Richards, and during the five active years of hor connection with tho company, its growth has been trulj' remarkable.
