Show PROMISED TO REFUND. OGDEN, June 14. James Douglas, local lo-cal representative of an eastern tailoring company, was arraigned In Judge W. H. Reeder's court this morning on a charge of obtaining money under false pretenses for having secured a $5 deposit on a suit order without delivering tho clothes. The complaint was filed by Gust Popares, a Greek, while Tony Beckett, another Greek, also testified that he had paid ?5 without having received either a refund of his money 'or suit. Douglas, who has had trouble with tho eastern Arm, promised prom-ised to roturn the deposit in both cases. Judge Reeder will consider the matter until Monday morning. |
