i Prepare for Pnrplo Day. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Juno 14. Acting on the. advice ad-vice and suggestion of President H. W. Rowe, the directors of tho Weber club held a special meeting today for the purpose of selecting committees to assist tho Elks in preparation for tho purple day celebration on July 4 and also tfa arrange for the entertainment o thef N. E. A. delegates, who are coming to Ogden canyon from Salt Lake on July D. The officers pf.'tho club are anxious to assist in every possible way toward the success of both events. . When tho directors had assembled today, to-day, Secretary I. L,. Keynold? read the following message from President Rowe, who Is at his iranch near Clmmaron, Colo.: "I heartily Indorse the nctton .of the Elks' lodge in having their purple day celebration in Ogdon canyon on July 4. This furnishes amusement and recreation recrea-tion for our peoplo in our own city and by tho Best Peoplo on Earth. This is a demonstration .of the spirit that makes good cities better and bigger. The Weber club should take any action necessary to aid In making the day.a howling success. suc-cess. VL M. ROWE."
