It is expected thai between 300 and 400 railroad special agents, representing represent-ing evevv system iu the country, will attend tfie seventconth annual convention conven-tion of the International Association oi' Railway' Special Agents and Police, which 'nicets in Salt Lake Tuesday, "Wednesday and Thursday. Prom information infor-mation received, the JOl.'J meeting will be the most largely attended held since the association was organizod at Kansas Kan-sas City seventeen years ago. Tho delegates, wh"ile known as special spe-cial agents, are really detectives and police of the railway and steamship companies. Most of 'the sessions will be behind closed doors, as many things will bo taken up which are for only tho ears of the railway officers. The local committee, in charge of Joseph Jones, chief special agent for the Oregon Short Line, has arranged a programme of entertainment for tho visitors and their wives. Tho plans include in-clude an organ recital at the tabernacle, taber-nacle, a trip over tho Luciu cutoff, a visit to Bingham and a trip to Saltair. Tho auxiliary members will bo met at tho Hotel Utah on June 17 at 11 a. m. and will bo iakeu for a sightseeing trip about the city, following the rendition of a programme which lias been especially espe-cially arranged in their honor. The programme arranged is as follows: fol-lows: Address of welcome, Zina Young Card; vocal solo, Horace Ensign; selection selec-tion (violin and piano), Miss Johanna Schich, Miss Chloe Sharp; vocal, Miss Delia Wolstenliolmo. The local committee consists of Mrs. Joseph Jones, chairman; Mosdaraes Lillian Lil-lian C. "Wolstenholmo. Zina Youn"-Card, Youn"-Card, W. S. Wight, O. F. Hewlett. Elizabeth Eliz-abeth IT.
