Show DELEGATES 10 MEEI El ROUTE TO (W Christian Endeavor Members Gather Here on Way to j Los Angeles. A special train bearing delegates to the .International Christian Endeavor convention, which will be held in Los Angeles, July 0-14, will leave Salt Lake City over the Salt Lake route at 11 o 'clock the evening of July 7. A large attendance is expected from Utah and tho officials of the Salt Lake City union, of which A. E. Boweu is president,- ;md the Utah State union, of which C. E. Marks is prosident, lwne invited the ' ' Endcavorors" of Montana, Mon-tana, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado to join them here. Tho liov. Dr. Louis S. Bowcrman, pastor of the ImmanucI Baptist church of Salt Lake City, will have charge of the train from hero as porsonnl conductor con-ductor and transportation leader, He lias solocted tho New Baltimore hotel in Los Angeles as headquarters and will so arrange the special from Utah that it will bo a splendid advertisement advertise-ment for tho intormountain country, and especially for Salt Lake City. 6 Several special trains from eastern points will pas3 through Salt Lako City on the way to Los Angeles, and the Salt Lako City union will entertain the members of the different parties while here. Tho Tmmanncl Baptist church will be used as Christian Endeavor headquarters, and there will be a big rallv there the nicbt of July 6. The best of speakers for tho convention conven-tion comprises some famous names. "Farther Endeavor" Clark, for years a creat leader; Hon. William Jennings Bryan, secretary of stato; Dr. Henry Churchill King, Dr. Robert Coylo. Dr. Tra Landrith, Dr. William Patterson, Dr. John Balcom Shaw, Dr. Charles M. Sheldon, Dr. F. M. Goodchild, Dr. Carl D. Case, lion. J. A. MacDonald, Prof. Percy S. Foster, tho great chorus leader; lead-er; Evanirelisfc William A. Sunday and about fiftv .more equally efficient workers will take part. |
