Show Farmer Loans To Help En '56 Possible By FI1A Farmers in Duchesne County may apply for the additional loan funds available for financing 1956 operating expenses, R. B. Mc-Leaish, Mc-Leaish, administrator of the Farmers Farm-ers Home Administration, notified Anthon B. Christensen, the agency's agen-cy's local representative today. The loans may be used to pay a wide variety of farm and home operating expenses including the purchase of fertilizer, tractor fuel, livestock feed and seed. The loans will be' made only to farmers who are operating units no larger than a family-type farm, and who are unable to obtain adequate ade-quate credit from other source's. Applications may be filed at the county offices of the Farmers Home Administration.- The office serving Duchesne County is located lo-cated at the Frandsen Building in Roosevelt. All Farmers Home Administration Administra-tion offices have been instructed to give' prompt service to all' loan applications. Mr. Christensen stated stat-ed that these loans are short-term credit designed to help farmers finance fi-nance one year's oprationS. Credit is also extended by the Farmers Home Administration over longer periods to finance adjustments and improvement in farming operations. opera-tions. Real estate credit for purchase and development of family type farms, for financing soil conservation conser-vation measure's, and for the development de-velopment of water supply sys- tems for farm home, livestock and irrigation are also available. |
