The family of Winfred Long had dinner at the Blaine Morrell home on Whiterocks Bench last Sunday. GET TV RECEPTION The Mitchell Brothers of Altamont Alta-mont have been testing TV reception re-ception in this area and have installed in-stalled some sets. At the home of J, A. Houston several neighbors neigh-bors enjoyed' watching it and feel it is very good in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Coltharp, Dick and Virginia Houston returned from Salt Lake Friday after having been there to be with their mother moth-er through her recent operation. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Horrocks of Vernal visited Sunday with the Nellie and Byron Horrocks. Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins attended the annual Safety banquet ban-quet given for the Carter Oil Co. employees, at the Frontier Grill. Mrs. Merle Moosman was taken to the hospital Saturday. She has been sick with the mumps for two weeks. . The little baby of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Johnson is very ill with the' flu at this writing. Ned Gines was not at school Monday, as he had to take his wife to Salt Lake for medical care. Mrs. Edith Goodrich took his place in the school room while he is away. Speakers at meeting Sunday were Orion Smith, David Moosman Moos-man and Mrs. Ruth Murray. Miss Lorna Oberhansly played an ac-cordian ac-cordian solo, "O, My Father," accompanied ac-companied on the piano by her sister, Betty Oberhansly. Dinner guests at the' Blaine Morrill Mor-rill home Sunday were the Winfred Win-fred Long family and Mr. and Mrs, Davis Morrill. Those attending the preparation meeting ' at Roosevelt Saturday were' Edith Oberhansly, Primary president;, Ora Ellingford, Mable Allen, Ed'nal Simmons, ' Madeena Smith and Voloise Morrill. |
