Show Local Union Gives $100 To Boy Scout District The Roosevelt District, Boy Scouts of America, last week were $100 better off financially than they had anticipated. The reason for this streak of good luck can be contributed to the Loca Union No: 4263, United Steel Workers of America, who presented present-ed the finance' chairman Ted Ol-pin, Ol-pin, with a check for $100, Making the presentation to Mr. Olpln and James E. Bacon Roosevelt Roose-velt district chairman, were Harold Har-old White, president, and Everett Lawson, financial secretary and treasurer. The local union is composed com-posed of gilsonite miners from the Standard Gilsonite Co. and r a 7ieel'er Mines. According to Mr. Olpin, the donation tS Scouting was more Surprising because it came totally unsolicited. |
