Show Courses Given In Weed Control; Local Men Attend Five men from this area attended at-tended the weed control short course at the' Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural College in Logan the past week. They are: Robert S. Mur-dock, Mur-dock, Duchesne county agricultural agricultur-al agent; A. Hale Holgate, agricultural agri-cultural inspector for this district; Elmer R. Moon, Duchesne, and Howard Roberts, Myton, representing repre-senting the Duchesne County noxious nox-ious weed control committee; and Foster Lamb, representing the Indian In-dian Service. Two other' topics discussed by the former for-mer agent in this county were': "How to Identify Weed Seeds and Plants and Suggestions on Educational Educa-tional Displays," and "Records to Determine Where We Are in Weed Control and Where We Are Going." Go-ing." The two-day short course was planned to give the latest information informa-tion on how to combat noxious weeds. Such problems as controlling control-ling weeds on dry Lands, alfalfa seed lands, canals and ditch banks, range lands and brush areas were considered.
