Show Two Cub Dens Join In Meeting The Myton and Hancock Cove dens participated in a Cub Pack meeting Saturday evening at the Myton LDS ward chapel. Loyal Perry, chairman of Pack commit-i tee No. 3253, was in charge of the meeting. Pirates, the theme for the month of January, was portrayed in skits presented by both dens. The Hancock Cove den, under the direction of Mrs. Clarence Jones, den mother, enacted en-acted a pirate group, "Burying Treasure;" while the Mytori den, with Den Mothers Mrs. Wilber Murray and Mrs, Charles' Martin, asisted by Mrs. Howard Roberts, in charge', depicted the "Life of a Pirate." Three boys received' awards from Akel'a's Council: Mark Roberts Rob-erts received a Silver Arrow point; 'Burton Johnson, one Silver and one Gold Arrow Point and Darrell Murray, his Lion's badge'. Parents Par-ents of these boys, walked the plank to make it possible for their sons to receive these awards. Reed Richens and David Chandler received re-ceived certificates of graduation from the Cub Scouts and were presented to Primary President Celia Richens to continue work in the' Guide patrol in the Primary. At the close of the program the dens gave the "Grand Howl," honoring the two boys. Refreshments Refresh-ments completed' the evening's festivities as they opened their Treasure Chest, |
