Huskies beat a Vernal team by a score of 72 to 36. Randlett won over Ballard, and Fort Duchesne All-Stars lost to Ouray. On Sat,, Feb., 4, the Huskies will play Ignachio, Colo., and the Road Kings of Ouray will play Banic Creek, Idaho. Games will start at 7 o'clock and 500 admission admis-sion will be charged adults and 250 for children. Refreshments will be sold. Over $600 has been spent on new suits for the Ute recreation program. , The Baptist Women's Union met at the home of Daisy Ignacio for its . weekly meeting. The women spent the afternoon sewing a layette lay-ette to send to Mrs. Sally Boxer in Anchorage, Alaska. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served to the group. Miss Marion Gardner of Denver was home visiting with her father, John Gardner, . and sister, Mrs. Glenda Arroches, over the weekend. week-end. She also attended the Gold and Green ball. EYE INJURED Martin Ried, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Ried, met with an accident at school when an eye was injured. It was feared they would have' to take him to Salt Lake City, but his eye is improving im-proving and he is back in school. |
