Show 4 Randlett Viola Jensen Church News Class Leader Ivy Chandler presented pre-sented the social science lesson Tuesday at Relief Society. Stake Primary visitors attending attend-ing Primary Tuesday were: Verda" Campbell, Mary Hacking, Viola Harrison, Benice Edrington, Belva Fieldstead and Leora Zupko. The ward MIA conference was held' Tuesday evening. Viola Jensen Jen-sen conducted and Supt. Grant Jarman had the' Mutual officers and teachers sustained. Sharon Cummings of the stake YMMIA was the speaker. YWMIA stake visitors attending were Merle Sullivan and Joyce Dennis. The' MIA held a special dance practice Thursday evening, under the direction of Grant Jarman and Veda Jorgensen. The Singing Mothers met Thursday Thurs-day evening to practice songs'. A group of parents took the Scouts and Bee Hive girls to the Victory Park Friday evening to the stake 'teen-age Gold and Green Ball. Participating in the floor show from our ward were': Peggy Wardle, Sybil' Turner, Deanna Durfee, Loretta Brown, Cherie Brough, Shirley Pickup, Pauline Pickup, Janet Brough, Carolyn Stoddard and Irene Jensen. Primary officers and teachers attending stake Primary meeting in Roosevelt Saturday were: Donna Don-na Pickup, Jennie McMullin, Lula Dudley, Nellie Harris, Irene and Viola Jensen and Lydia Brough, The ward Sunday School, conference con-ference was held Sunday. Stake visitors attending were: High Councilman Jess Hullinger, Supt. Ariel Michie, Lawrell Jensen, Rul-on Rul-on Dean Skinner and Joseph Hicks' Jr. Speakers were Mr. Jensen and Mr. Skinner. Ward conference was held Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Speakers were Donna Don-na Pickup, Primary president; Sunday School Supt. Fahy Durfee, YWMIA President Viola Jensen; Relief Society President Hazel Wardle', YMMIA Supt. Grant Jar. man and Stake President Hollis G. Hullinger. The STnging Mothers sang "Thanks Be To God," with Betty Jensen accompanying at the piano. Ralph Durfee and Mr, and Mrs. Robert Marshall and family of. Salt Lake City spent last Sunday here taking care of business matters. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler brought little 3-month-old Rodney home from the hospital Thursday. Mrs. Marian Shelton and son, Duane of Roosevelt spent Wednesday Wed-nesday visiting at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Wall of Vernal' spent Saturday visiting at the home of Mr. Wall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Jensen of Salt Lake City spent the weekend visiting at the' home of Mrs, Edgar Ed-gar Jensen. LIONS CLUB MEETS The Randlett and Ouray Lions Club met Thursday evening at the Stanley Nebeker home. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served by Mrs. Nebeker. Nebe-ker. Mrs. Lora Wopsock of Ft. Duchesne Du-chesne taught Mrs, Betty Heath's room Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Wednes-day and Thursday. Mrs. Osa Hullinger Hul-linger taught them Friday. |
