Show Valley. Forge Is Chosen For 1956 Jamboree One of the important announcements announce-ments of the 1956 Boy Scout Week was made today by Floyd Love-ridge, Utah National Parks Council Scout Executive, to the effect that a National Jamboree would be held in July, 1957, at Valley Forge, Penn. In 1953 the last National Jamboree Jam-boree of the Boy Scouts of America Amer-ica was held with 50,000 boys and leaders participating. Site of that jamboree was Irvine Ranch, Calif. Valley Forge was the' site of the Second National Jamboree in 1950. Details as to requirements for participation, approximate cost to attend the Jamboree, and required equipment will be released to the Uintah Basin as soon as it is received, re-ceived, concluded Mr. Love'ridge. |
