Each hunter receiving such a letter is asked to fill out the' requested re-quested information and return same promptly. When , properly and honestly filled out, these questionnaires are compiled to give valuable information in-formation covering hunting pressure, pres-sure, harvest success, and future management policy. Deer and pheasant hunters who have received a questionnaire concerning con-cerning these two hunts are also urged to fill in the self-addressed and stamped cards if they have not already done so. F-&-S Hunting license privileges of four hunters' involved in gun accidents ac-cidents during the recent fall hunting seasons have been revoked re-voked for a period of five years by the Utah Fish and Game Commission. Com-mission. Under Utah law, the commission commis-sion must revoke such privileges whenever a hunter is shown to have "carelessly or negligently" wounded or killed another person while hunting. Complete evidence concerning each gun accident is first weighed by the commissioners. If carelessness careless-ness or negligence is evident, the offending individual is notified to appear before the' commission to show cause why his hunting license li-cense privileges should not be revoked re-voked for a five year period. A commission' spokesman said several other persons involved in hunting accidents during 1955 will receive notice ' to appear before the commission as final field reports re-ports covering these accidents are summarized. |
