Show i M'K s;XXi.x - K A A vx ; - i i STUDENT PROJECT Farmington Elementary School has completed the "Great Brain" project with winners from kindergarten through the sixth grades. Each student was presented with a certificate and a badge. THE PHILOSOPHY of this program was for a winning attitude, atti-tude, which views all students as gifted or talented in some way. ALL STUDENTS had to select subjects which they could learn more about, through research which included in-cluded the public libraries, magazines, museums, interviews, inter-views, news sources, the TV and any ot er source. They compiled notes in notebooks, using visual aids, creating original art work, pictures, pic-tures, stories, etc. THE STUDENTS presented talks to school classes, to family fami-ly or other groups. The oral presentations were judged by a selected group and evaluated, as a specialist, expert, master mind or genius in the subject prepared. There was also a Great Brain Fair in early March in which all students participated, partici-pated, made presentations and brought various types of articles. arti-cles.
