SUSC's dance and drill team will per-form per-form in the SUSC War Memorial Fieldhouse beginning at 8 p.m. Variety Show by Thunderettes "Thunderettes Like to Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance," and they'll prove it at their annual spring variety show April 29 at Southern Utah State College. In a performance scheduled to begin at 8 p. m. in the SUSC War Memorial Fieldhouse, the 18-member dance and drill team will perform several of their favorite drill routines, some of which were used in earlier performances at the Los Angeles Forum. Also included in the program will be singing, dancing, piano playing, and speciality numbers. Thunderette Director Nancy Stringham said that proceeds from the hour and a half show will be used to help defray Thunderette expenses such as adding to and repairng the group's sequin-covered costumes. Tickets will be sold for 50 cents for children 12 and under, $1.50 for adults, and $1 for SUSC students with activity cards. "Every one is welcome to attend our show," Ms. Stringham said "The program will include routines pleasing to all ages." |
