Douglas Grim-shaw Grim-shaw have moved back to Enoch after spending almost a year in Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Johnson and family of Delta spent Sunday Sun-day here visiting friends. Betty and Barbara Jones, who are living at Las Vegas, Nev., spent Mother's Day with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wlllard Jones. Other people who spent Mother's day here were Susan Halterman, Mrs. Joyce Halterman Johnson and Miss Barbara Grim-shaw. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Peacock and family of Enterprise spent Sunday with Mrs. Peacock's mother, Mrs. Maude Jones. A baby boy was born at the Iron County hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Royce Chamberlain Monday. The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Gibson. Mr. and Mrs. Cal Williams have returned to Nevada after spending spend-ing a month here while Mr. Williams Wil-liams has been employed. Wayne Grlmshaw lost a finger at the first joint in an accident last week. Henry Vandenberghe, who has been stationed at Fort Sill, Okla.. attending officers training school, graduated on May 2 and will report re-port to Fort Bliss. Texas, on May. 10. Mrs. Vandenberghe will accompany ac-company him. Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Hatch and family of Kanosh spent Sunday here and In Parowan. Fourteen of the young people of the Enoch Ward honored Grace Marie Smith on her 12th birth-dav birth-dav at a surprise party Mondav. Mrs. Clara Smith of Denver Is visiting here with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grlmshaw. Delworth Armstrong and Clark Maxwell, students at the Cedar City High School, recently returned re-turned from' Logan where they participated in a FFA judging contest. These boys, with six other team members, placed 13th in 52 entries. |
