Show Program Announced For County 4-H Training School A 4-H Club Leadership School for the 4-H leaders of Iron County Coun-ty will be held on Wednesday, May 18, with home economics project sessions in the afternoon and a general session for all leaders in the evening. These meetings are being held to assist 4-H club leaders in carrying car-rying out the 4-H Club program in Iron County. The afternoon session ses-sion is for all leaders of home economics projects and will begin be-gin a 1 o'clock at the Second Ward Church at Cedar City. Miss Elna Miller, extension nutritionist, nutrition-ist, will conduct the training for foods leaders. Miss Amy Kearsley, assistant supervisor of youth programs, pro-grams, will conduct the clothing session. Miss Emma Nlelson, home demonstration agent, will conduct the home furnishings and crafts department. The evening session will be at 8 at the Second Ward Church in Cedar City. This session is for all 4-H Club leaders of both home economics and agricultural projects. pro-jects. Some of the highlights of the evening session will be demonstrations dem-onstrations on "How to Conduct a Club Meeting," by Boyd Leonard's Leon-ard's girls forestry club, and a talk by Miss Amy Kearsley on the "Role of a 4-H Leader." It is hoped that all club leaders lead-ers will plan to attend this important im-portant training school. Parents and friends of 4-H are invited. I |
