Show Auxiliary To Elect Officers; Will Stage Work Day Sat. A meeting, scheduled for this evening, Thursday, for the purpose pur-pose of electing officers for the coming year has been called by the American Legion Auxiliary in Cedar City, according to Pearl Rogers, president. A nominating committee has been selected and names will be presented at the meeting for consideration con-sideration by the membership, Mrs. Rogers said. The meeting will be held at the Fire Station. Installation of officers elected this evening will be at a- later date this month and it is hoped that the ceremony can be performed per-formed at the new building of the auxiliary that is nearing completion just south of the cltv. Mrs. Rogers stated that a work day has been called this Saturday, Satur-day, May 14, at the- building site in an effort to complete the nec-esary nec-esary work. Both men and women wo-men of the Legion and Auxiliary Auxil-iary have been asked to turn out Saturday to complete work on landscaping and painting of interior and exterior. In addition to the work, Mrs. Rogers announced a second list of contributions that have been received by auxiliary members to help defray expenses of the new home. This list, the second |
