Show Stage Gets Final Touches for Dedication Rites' Workmen moved onto the f-tare at College of Southern! Utah this week to complete some1 unfinished work prior to the official of-ficial dedication of the new library. lib-rary. auditorium building May 18.! The floor of the stane, constructed con-structed of Douglas Fir, is being sanded and will be treated with wood filler when the sanding operation Is complete. When the building was turned over to the college early In March, the production prod-uction date of the opera "New Moon" was so close that time did not permit this operation. Right after the opera setting! was taken off the stage the two Greek plays, "Oedipus the King," and "Antigone" went into final i rehearsals on the stage; this production was followed by the! varsity show, "April in Paris." i At the dedication ceremonies,! set for 8 p.m. in the auditorium, the new men's dormitory will al-so al-so be dedicated. Gov. J. Bracken' Lee heads the list of dignitaries! Invited to the dedication. Others! expected to attend are Thorpe B.l Isaacson; chairman of the board' of trustees, USAC; Dr. Daryl Chase, USAC President and sev-l eral members of the board. Dedicatory De-dicatory prayer will be offered by Alma Sonne, assistant to the quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Speakers Latter-Speakers will Include Gov. J. Bracken Lee, President Chase, and Dr. Royden C. Braithwalte, CSU Director. Music will be furnished furn-ished by the college music department de-partment under the direction of Professors oy L.
