"Since By Man Came Death" from "Messiah" Handel CSU Mixed Chorus and Orchestra Prof. Blaine Johnson, Conducting Dedicatory Prayer Alma Sonne Member USAC Board of Trustees "Hallelujah Chorus" from "Messiah" Handel CSU Mixed Chorus and Orchestra Prof. Blaine Johnson, Conducting Benediction paui pet Director, LDS Institute of Religion Invitations -have gone out to, over 1,000 alumni and patrons of College of Southern Utah' for the dedication of the new library, auditorium building and men's dormitory, it was announced by college officials today. Official dedicatory services will be held at 8 p. m. Wednesday, May IS in the auditorium. Previous Prev-ious to the dedication service, visitors to the campus will be conducted through the new buildings build-ings by faculty and student guides. Tours of the new facilities facili-ties will start from the breeze-way breeze-way between the library and auditorium, au-ditorium, beginning at 2 p. m. and continuing until 5 p. m., then again from 6 p. m. until 7:30. Members of the Intercollegiate Knights and the Corps of Sponsors Spon-sors will conduct Fmall groups of visitors to points of Interest In the new buildings where mem- bors of the faculty will explain the purpose and use of that part of the physical plant. Gov. J. Bnckon Lcc is expected to attend the dedication, heading the list of distinguished visitors and guests. Other prominent guests who have boon Invited include Dr. II. A. Dixon, U. S. Representative; Walter K. Granger, Gran-ger, former U. S. Representative; Senator Wallace F. Bennett, La-mont La-mont F. Toronto, Secretary of State, and E. R. Callister, Attorney Attor-ney General for the State of Utah; members of the State Building Board and the State Finance Fi-nance Cortimissien r.nd a number of county and city officials. Prominent educators expected to attend include Dr. Daryl Chase, president of U S A C; Dr. E. Allen Bateman, Superintendent of Public Pub-lic Instruction, as well as local administrators. Members of the board of trustees have been In vited, and a number of them are expected to attend. Thorpe B. Issacson, chairman of the USAC board will preside at the dedication dedica-tion with Charles R. Hunter, Cedar Ce-dar Cltv member of the board conducting. Mr. Isaacson, Dr. Chase and Governor Lee are listed list-ed as sneakers for the occasion. The dedicatory prayer will be flven bv Alma Sonne, member of the U S A C board. Music for the dedicatory program pro-gram will be furnished by the CSU music department under the direction of Professors Roy L. Halvcrsen and Elaine Johnson. |
