Show NEWS NOTES OF SUMMIT ACTIVITIES Mrs. Hulda Peterson Kent Hulet of Provo spend the week end here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet. Mrs. Jeanette Bayles and two daughter, Joan and Barbara, of Parowan, spent Sunday here with Mrs. Nettie Dalley and with Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand Dalley. The Junior Sunday School joined join-ed the adult classes and gave a Mother's Day program Sunday morning. Following the excellent program each mother was presented pre-sented with a rose. Mr.- and Mrs. Chester Benson and children visited with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walger here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Williamson William-son and daughters Jeanette and Glenna, of Las Vegas, Nev., spent the week end visiting with rela-tices rela-tices in Summit, Parowan and Taragonah. Mrs. Ardiee Williamson spent Mother's Day in Summit visiting with her mother Mrs. Hulda Peterson. She was an active ward member, serving as pianist before be-fore she married and left Summit. Sum-mit. Bert Lawrence received word of the marriage of his son Boyd, known as Billie Lawrence. He is stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky., and was married there recently to a young lady from Utah. Mrs. Rose Lawrence, who ncr resides in California, notified rel- 1 atives and friends here this week that her son, Charles Leigh Miles, died in Las Vegas, on 'April .23.. He was a former resident of Summit. Sum-mit. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Evans had as dinner guests on Mother's Day, Mr. and Mrs. John C. Evans, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Wood row Watson, and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Evans of Parowan. Leland Dalley of St. George visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dalley, Saturday. |
