Show Radio Station Makes Second Presentation A gift of moie than 50 phonograph phono-graph records to College of Southern Utah by radio station KSUB was announced this week by Roy L. Halversen, "chairman of the Music Department. The newest addition to the record collection of the college consists of 10 albums f records of the standard speed and an additional 25 separate records. They were added to the 1050 recordings re-cordings previously donated to the college by the radio station, through Its manager Arthur Hig-bee. Hig-bee. In addition to the recordings from station KSUB the college has purchased and has been given giv-en several hundred recorflings of classical and operatic selections on long playing and standard speed discs. The record collection Is stored at Frank A. Thorley Music Hall in the listening room, where students stu-dents have access to them. These records are used in connection with music appreciation courses and may also be used by students stu-dents for their own pleasure and instruction. |
