Show c i . - X il - CARL HADLOCK Hadlock dies, service pays tribute Carl Hadlock, 88, died Feb. 10, 1980 in the Uintah County Hospital and his funeral was Wednesday, Feb. 13 in the Vernal Fourth Ward Chapel. He was born May 28, 1891 in Vernal to Erskine Curtis Hadlock and Edith Ann Hobbs. He married Rose Minerva Eaton Oct. 15, 1913 in Vernal, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. His wife died Sept. 7, 1969. A son, Charles Carl Hadlock, also preceeded him in death. His occupation was a blacksmith. He was a member of Vernal Fourth Ward, served a Stake Mission from 1945 to 1947, and was a High Priest in the LDS Church. He is survived by four sons and four daughters. Emil. Roosevelt. Kenneth, New Braunfels, Texas, LeGrand, Vernal, Curtis, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Ward (Verna) Murray, Jensen, Mrs. Lowell (Ardith) Robbins, Vernal, Mrs. Clayton(Opal)Slaugh, Vernal, Mrs. and Dr. Lewis (Theresa) Larsen, Bloomington, Ut.; 44 grandchildren; 132 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Fuller (Edith) Remington, Salt Lake City, Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park. |
